Hammond Trail Bridge replacement approved

1941-vintage trestle, 1983-era bike bridge to be rebuilt in 2027


The new bridge would be built adjacent to the existing bridge, which would be torn down after the new bridge is complete. This would allow the Hammond Trail to remain open during construction.

Funds to help restore landmark crossing, economy

Avelo ending Vegas service


HUMBOLDT/LAS VEGAS –Avelo Airlines informed Humboldt County officials April 8, that they will discontinue service between the California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport (ACV) and the Las Vegas International Airport (LAS).
